Finished WT #103, Hollow Form Vessel from Spalted Crabapple with Turquoise, Red Coral, & Jet inlay

I’m happy to have this piece finished!  It buffed up nicely but it wasn’t a lot of fun turning.  With the wood being so very old and dry the hollowing went slowly and I produced more saw dust than shavings.  I think the tree had probably been dead for over 10 years.  On the plus side there was no drying period to go through before finishing.  😀  More photos of this piece can be seen in the Hollow Form Vessel page.
