Shipping Practices

I use USPS, FedEx, and UPS depending on the size and weight of the piece. Since my work varies greatly in size and weight, calculating shipping is rather complex at times, so in order to simplify matters I have included a very minimal shipping and insurance cost for the smaller pieces.  With the larger pieces I will let prospective buyers know the shipping options and prices prior to the completion of the purchase. I take great care in packaging and shipping and every piece is insured for shipment. Due to issues in many foreign locations with importing wood products we do not ship internationally.

What is your return policy?

Each piece I produce is handled with care and attention to detail in order to create a treasured piece that will last a lifetime. I recommend that internet purchases include a video conference so that customers can get an excellent viewing of a piece prior to purchase. My customer’s happiness is important to me and requests for returns will be handled on a case by case basis.

How do I care for the wood turning I have purchased?

Wood can be impacted by excessive changes in temperature and humidity. My pieces are made to be kept indoors in a climate controlled environment. Due to a variety of finishes I use I recommend simply dusting the pieces with a dry soft cotton cloth. Avoid using spray waxes as these may cause the piece to dull over time. If any issues should ever arise with the finish on a piece please contact me for guidance.
