Finished WT #104, Hollow Form Vessel from Elm Burl
Originally I thought I would do some mineral inlay on this piece after I finished drying it, but I decided I liked the contrast of the Burl grain patterns with the irregularities in the piece and decided to leave it as is. I finished it to 800 grit and will give it several coats of walnut oil and then buff it after the walnut oil polymerizes and drys in a few days. I’ll get some better photos at that time and upload them in the Hollow Form Vessel page.
