WT #125, Hollow Form Vessel from White Oak Root Burl with Malachite inlay. 7.5” diameter x 11.5” tall, buffed oil finish. This piece is the most challenging hollow form I have turned thus far due to the large number of voids in the wall of the vessel combined with the burl having grown around 4 different large rocks that I had to dig out and remove from the interior of the piece during the hollowing process. The piece was fragile enough that I had to use inlaid bridges of malachite to stabilize the wall of the vessel in 8 places.
