Hollow Form Vessel from “Rich Lighter” Ponderosa Pine with Lapis Lazuli inlay.  Stand and lid with finial from Walnut.  Finished with cyanoacrylate and buffed to 50,000 grit.  8.5” inch diameter x 14” tall.  3” opening with 1/4” wall thickness.  The pine resin in this piece had been hardening up for over 100 years since the tree was logged off.  The rich luster in the piece is a result of that process.
