I’m glad to have this piece finished!  I think I will title it “Dreaming the Hunt”.  I have a video of the piece on my FB sight if anyone is interested @bertpolingwoodturning Well this piece sold the ports day I listed it.  If anyone is interested please contact me and Imam happy to take commissions.

Getting near the end ... likely just a few hours left.  This latest pic shows the work on the cheek plates and is typical of both sides.

Here is the latest photo showing the last additions to this work.  Pyrography on bone is sure a time consuming endeavor compared to burning on other materials, but the contrast between the white bone and the shades of burned areas is so pleasing to me.  I’ve added six arrow heads and the 2 design bands at the horn bases as well as two sun symbols.

I added the dream catcher with feathers ... lots of fine detail work in this are that took a lot of time. I think I will give this piece a name and have one in mind now but will wait to share it until the piece is finished.

I finished the work bordering the eye sockets inside and out and added a Kokopelli Flute Player to each side.
